The book study and discussion meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at 7:30pm in Somerville. The text being studied will be Unlimiting Mind: The Radically Experiential Psychology of Buddhism, by Andrew Olendzki. This group begins in September 2010 and meets every month until March 2011 (meeting on Nov 18, not Nov 25; and not meeting in December). If interested, we ask you make a sincere effort to attend all meetings.

On March 20th Henry David Thoreau Sangha will be hosting Dosho Port, a Zen priest and dharma heir of Dainin Katagiri-roshi in the Soto Zen Tradition. Join us for this full day workshop (8:30 am – 5:00 pm). It is a unique opportunity to engage with one of Zen’s well known teachers and writers. $25 suggested donation. Bring a brown bag lunch.
This event will be held at the Spring Hill Sangha, 147 High Street, Medford, MA.

Please consider joining us for the first ever Boundless Way New Year’s
Celebration, 8 pm to midnight December 31, 2008. The Hank Sangha is
hosting the party. We are located at 297 Lowell Ave., Newton, MA. We
see this as a joyful and mindful way to bring in the New Year.
The celebration will be in two parts. From 8 pm to 10pm, we will have
fruits, cheeses, desserts and such, along with (non-alcoholic!)
beverages. Starting at 10, we will have a brief service followed by
periods of zazen and kinhin …
