Join us for our second annual Buddha’s birthday celebration.  The ceremony will be at Spring Hill Sangha at 11:15 am Saturday, April 28th.  Potluck and cake will follow.  Please bring a salad or main dish to share.  You are also welcome to come for the regular sitting at 9:00 am.  Family and friends are encouraged to attend.  There is a special job for any children that come.  For more information email hanksanghainfo@gmail.com.

The Boundless Way Zen east groups will be offering an all day sit on Saturday, April 14th, from 9 am to 4 pm at Springhill in Medford.  The teachers will be Josh Bartok, Osho and primary teacher for Boundless Way Zen, East; and Kate Hartland, Sr. Dharma Teacher.

This summer two of our sanghamates have had the opportunity to visit
countries that were pivotal in the formation of Buddhism and Buddhist practice.
Julie Nelson had the chance to visit China and Carolynn Maltas visited
India.  On Monday night, August 22nd we will have our regular sutra
service, one period of sitting and then we will end our regular
service.  Then we will help ourselves to some iced tea and cookies while Carolynn and Julie share some
pictures and stories about their travels.
